REI Hospitality Kenya is a hospitality development and operational excellence consultancy. We work with hotels, resorts, restaurants, serviced apartments, lodges and tourism investors to build businesses that are profitable, well run and capable of competing internationally.
Our work covers the whole life of a hospitality investment. Concept and feasibility. Operational layout and construction guidance. Recruitment, systems and training before the doors open. Costing, pricing and performance once they have. Most firms do one of these. Doing all of them is what lets us see the consequences of a decision made three stages earlier.

Our leadership
Dr. Titus M. Kangangi, PhD
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Kangangi is a hospitality executive, consultant and tourism leader with more than twenty-five years in hotel operations, hospitality management, tourism governance and organisational leadership.
He trained in Switzerland, at Les Roches, and has held hotel operations management positions in Europe, Australia and Africa, including here in Kenya. Alongside that, consultancy assignments for hotel investors and a continuing part in tourism policy and destination development. He believes that everyone must Live with a purpose, Lead with integrity and Leave a legacy of kindness.
He founded REI Hospitality Kenya to bridge the gap between hospitality investment and operational success — providing practical, results-driven consultancy built for the African market rather than imported wholesale from somewhere else.

The name
Why “REI”?
The name reflects what we believe the work is. Rei carries the sense of my shepherd, my companion, my friend — someone who walks alongside you rather than watching from the side.
