About the Property

Zamar Springs Gardens is a garden venue in the Machakos countryside at Kithini in the Mua Hills, about 45 minutes from Nairobi. It is not a hotel and does not try to be one: it is an events, wedding and conferencing venue, and that decision shapes everything about it.

The grounds do the work. Manicured gardens, indoor halls, gazebos, pergolas and equipped conference rooms give it a range of spaces, from a family outing to a full corporate conference. The landscaping is laid out with paved walkways and gentle gradients, which makes it navigable with a stroller and for guests who do not move easily.

The kitchen is supplied by the property's own organic farm. The venue serves no alcohol, which places it deliberately with families and with groups who want an event without one.

It takes corporate team-building, seminars, weddings, family celebrations and group retreats, with event staff handling coordination on the day and ample parking for the numbers that brings. Payment by M-Pesa is accepted. Entry to the gardens is free for restaurant guests; conference and team-building packages are quoted against the event.
